French designer and engineer with a long experience in product and industrial design, we created Generation Plus in order to respond more adequately and inclusively to the demographic and clinical challenges of a changing world, where everyone must find their place, their independence and their well-being.

The aging of the population is considered one of the most important social changes of the 21st century. People are living longer than ever before, but many are experiencing a decline in their independence and quality of life and are not resigned to growing old.
Moreover, osteoarthritis, and all diseases related to osteoarthritis, is one of the most common causes of physical disability in adults (source: US National Institute on Aging). It affects more than 350 million people worldwide. In the United States, approximately 1 in 4 adults has been diagnosed with osteoarthritis by a physician (source: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).
In France, 9 to 10 million people suffer from osteoarthritis (source: INSERM).
Age and disability have an impact on almost every sector of society, particularly in terms of the demand for goods and services.

This is why the challenge of GENERATION PLUS is focused on improving life at home for everybody, and for this population in particular

We believe that aging well at home means having a quality of life supported by smart technologies, especially in the kitchen, where people have the most difficulty exercising their autonomy.
