Easy butter grater : a product with a history

easy butter butter grater generation plus 3

Years ago, a designer, who was also a French gourmet, decided to address the long-lasting problem of breakfast : how to spread cold and hard butter without ripping bread or toasts to shreds

Butter, like crème fraîche and milk, is one of those fresh products that we automatically store in the refrigerator to be able to keep them as long as possible. It's practical, but there is still a huge drawback, which is known to all those who put their butter in the fridge: a plate of very fresh butter is a plate of very hard butter!

Gourmets know it well: making a toast with butter taken out of the refrigerator and chilled to a rock-solid state, can turn out to be a nightmare! the butter cuts badly and does not spread, toasts are torn, transforming a moment of pleasure into a nightmare.

Gourmets also know that room-temperature or softened butter doesn’t have the same taste as cold butter, nor the same qualities, since it can easily be infected by bacteria during the softening process on a kitchen countertop.

Soon, Easy butter was designed, and then manufactured

Easy Butter is a specific device, which shreds a stick of butter into a creamy mousse that is very easy to spread, even when removing it directly from the refrigerator just before use

Consumers adopted the butter mill, rather than suffer through ripped bread or randomly scattered lumps of hard butter

All they had to do is put butter in the Easy Butter mill and then turn the base of the mill. The butter is pushed against the grater and comes out as a foam. They just had to apply this creamy mousse with a knife on their bread. Practical, Easy Butter can be stored directly in the refrigerator for further use .

Easy Butter became a success, even in countries far from French cuisine habit : in Japan, Easy Butter was sold up to more than 1 000 000 units !
